Wow has it slowed down around 112th (Boeing foot bridge). The fish down there are just not interested in anything. Fished from 10:00 to 1:00 and only went 1 for 1. There was about 30 people in the general area and during the entire time i was fishing is saw maybe 6 to 8 fish caught. Fish are still moving thru because there is a good amount of surface activity but the fish are not biting. I ran 3 different dick nites, spinner, spinner w/hoochie, hoochie jig, drifted a hoochie, corkie yarn, and even floated some eggs nothing was working. The one fish i landed was on a 50/50 dick nite. Today was probly the last day i hit the tidal area because the tides are not going to be very good for another week. Today the fishing window was very small.
I am curious as to why the bite has died. Is it the nets, the tide, lack of fish, or the moon phase. I was drifting a dick nite right thru a bunch of fish running in the same lane for over an hour and not one taker. Might have to head back to the Puke but i was there 2 days ago and it was pretty dead. Also still alot of people in my favorite hole and its just not worth dealing with all the noobs for lousy fishing. Cant wait till the Sol Duc fish start rolling in.
