9/14/2011 4:52:00 PMI can almost understand littering in a city because it's easy to rationalize that someone else is probably paid to clean it up. That's still BS but, I can sort of see THAT. What I can't understand is, what is (or in this case, isn't) going through these peoples' heads who trash such awesome beauty. It's a privilege to be able to fish these places and it blows my mind that so many of us take that for granted. The audacity one must have to come to the river, take out a bunch of fish (probably completely ignorant about the regs) and then walk out leaving a mound of garbage is amazing to me. I'm not talking about a couple feet of line and a few cigarette butts either. I'm talking cans, bottles, used rubber gloves, food wrappers/containers, yards and yards of line, etc, the kind of stuff that you had to have actually looked at on your way out and made a decision to take with or leave behind. Well, fine, looks like I found my cause, haha. I'll get off my soapbox now and go pick up some more trash since I can't catch any fish, :)
