Took a freind with me today to the soccer field because he was itchin to catch a fish that actually fought better than a big trout and boy did he have fun catchin those pinks. set him up to catch mainly pinks and i put my coho colors on and at the end of the day hooked what seemed to be a king with some size to it. Hooked it towards the end of my drift and he shot up like a bullet rippin my line upstream and eventually got him behind the other fisherman and saw his tail and upper back and the color on the fish was a bronze/gold color but he shot back out and stayed there and my cheap hook that i use for humpys straitened out and it was gone. At least i got a good fight out of him and a good story to tell. Also didn't want to try to horse him in cause i usually use 12lb main and 10lb leader but had a 12lb leader. Oh well i'll just consider that one the one that got away. Also i didn't hook any silvers but saw 4-5 hooked and landed about the same time, Must have been a school that pushed through. Anyways good luck fishin and PICK UP YOUR TRASH AT THE SOCCERFIELD SPOT BECAUSE THEY COULD POSSIBLY CLOSE THAT AREA TO FISH BECUASE OF YOU LITTER BUGS.
