Hit The good ol fishing hole again. Today was like a bonus fishing day, as my fiance had to goto work in tacoma so she could drop me off at the river!

Head to my usual spot, noone was there, was pretty stoked so i get my stuff all setup get my line in the water. and on first cast i had a fish on, it ended up spitting the hook...

About 2 hours being at the river, i finally get a nice pretty Silver onto shore, was pretty nice sized so i kept it.

I fished from 10-330 ended up catching 6 coho, brought a nice king to shore but he spit hook as he came onto shore, and i barely missed jumping on him... caught 17 pinks, but i just catch and release them things! I should have kept them but i was really just going for the sport, i start work tomorrow after 6 month unemployment... so it was very nice to have a last shot to get out on the water before work..

Fish are definitly here, i ended up snagging 17 fish, what are you supposed to do if you clearly know its snagged? are you supposed to bring it to shore and unsnag? or...? anyone who could help would be awesome!

Btw, for the cohos i was running orange corkie, and pink yarn, the pinks were enjoying pink on pink!

Yup, land the fish, unhook it as carefully as possible, then release it. I've seen many a gamewarden who were dressed in fishermen's clothes while on the river. So it certainly is a good idea to release any fish that are clearly snagged. Talked to a friend who said he saw a gamewarden last weekend getting writer's cramps from writing tickets for that very reason, snagging and keeping the fish. Good luck to you, and congrats on the silver.

if you were fishing in the lower river, there was no one there because it was closed....

nice job on silvers. For those of you who think 6 can't be caught in a day, learn to fish or quit bullying those who can fish
