Another good morning on the river with Nick Petosa. At least 20 hook-ups between the 3 of us fishing. Many were still bright fish, some still had sea lice on them.
Pink jigs between Burlington and Sedro Wooley were the ticket.
Stopped by Gardner Bar on the way home and fish were being caught there too.
The others were camera shy, but here's the ones we kept for the smoker.

Fished the Skagit today as well in Mt Vernon between 1pm and 5pm.. River was FULL of fish, rolling and jumping consistently.
Best lure used was a silver and pink striped full size STEELIE type lure. It was catching one every third cast and about 100 feet off shore. I was fishing from the bank.
A pink squid jig was pretty close with a fish on every 6 casts, and the jig was picking up fish about 5-10 feet from the bank.

Mostly 1/4 oz jigs in the slower current. Casting 45 to 60 degrees upstream and jigging down.
3/8 oz. in faster current.
