The river was hot today at least for the time i was down there. Fished my normal spot behind Kmart. Fished from 8am to 10am and landed 14 of 18 fish all catch & release. Some of the fish were good size and most of the fish were still very bright. The fish again came in waves but the waves this time lasted much longer and between waves the fishing was still good. Just basic drift fishin the water is down some so i was able to drop down to a 3/8 weight and i dont think color really matters. Just keep your hooks sharp, examine your line for nics, and check your knots because when your hooking that many fish things start to break down.

The crowds are still out there and growing. Only problems were the guy who wanted to play out every fish he hooked and he would let the thing run all over the place. In combat conditions just need to get your fish in so others can keep fishin. We also got the line ripper who at the end of his drift he would drop his rod tip to water and rip his pole back to 12 o'clock every dang time. The last big gripe is the dope smokers. I dont care if ya smoke weed but do it at home or go somewere so the rest of us dont have to. These guys were standing upriver and everytime they would puff up it would head downriver/downwind into myself and others. Also below us were some kids, so not cool.
