Tried fishing the Sky for the first time ever. Did a lot of research and decided to hit the area around Reiters (highway side), Big Eddy Park (upstream), and around the mouth of the Sultan River. Not much going on at any spot. There were about 6 guys at Reiters who all were getting skunked. I was all alone at Big Eddy and nothing there. A few people were at the bar across from the mouth of the Sultan and nothing there either. So it was a really slow day. It being my first time i spent most of my efforts scouting locations. My main method was pink worm with float, 50/50 spoon, and prawn with float. The water seemed kinda high and has some color but without every fishing there i cant say for sure. Gonna try again on tuesday.

Anybody know of any other good banks access? Like around Wallace River or near Reiter?

Yes there is easy access on the hatchery side. Just google directions to the Hatchery. You park there (you'll see the other cars to the left of the gate for the hatchery as you pull in) and follow the road/trail down to the river.
You'll turn on Reiter road, and follow it a little ways, when it forks keep right and there will be another road that splits off to the right side. I don't remember if there's signs for the hatchery or not... but it's pretty easy to find.

Also, keep in mind that reiter doesn't open until the 29th, so you were fishing 1,500 downstream from the outlet, right? You'll get some fish up there when it heats up, keep at it, there's nothing like steelhead fishing.
