Went out this morning to the Green to try my hand at whatever was there. Started out at Metzler Park with eggs and caught a few zombie chum. Nothin bright, they were pretty bad. The river was a bit high, but running clear. Went upstream to fish flaming geyser, it was empty. There were some spawning dogs in the shallows, left 'em alone.

Was wading towards the boat launch upstream and saw a dead steelhead, and it wasn't too rotten, that was a good sign. It was fresh, maybe only a day old. Then I saw a nice bright one swim between me and another guy upsteam from me, which made me stay an hour longer than I wanted to, nada. The weather was great, that water is a bit warm yet. Found out I have a hole in the foot of my wader, walked back to the car and left. Fun being on the river, but not very much fish, it's early yet.
