11/9/2010 9:39:00 PMwhere were you fishing at? The cowlitz can get really hectic when all the other rivers are full of dull spawned out fish and it's getting bright chromers. All the folks end up congregating there. I've been there when it's not nearly so bad and it's a great fishery. I grew up out there, so I know what you mean.

11/10/2010 12:07:00 PMWe were at barrier dam in Salkum? The fish I seen were all decent. Too bad though that hardly any were taken with bait or a mans way of fishing. No need to feel sorry for me brinan253. I needed a laugh and I got one thanks.

11/11/2010 1:01:00 PMBittin corkies my backside. I watched this circus last weekend... Cast... jerk, jerk, jerk, jerk, jerk... Ohhhh! I got a bite.... ! then they pull it in by the gutts. Hey, I actually dont have a problem with keeping a fish that has been snagged if your going to eat it. Again, I say A fish... meaning ONE or perhaps two. Not snagging your limit everyday. Its not my thing,..and I wont participate in it.... but the fish are just going to go to waste anyway IMO. But dont sit there and tell me that your catching them when they bite your corkie.... A spade is a spade... call it what it is... Its snagging.....period.
