Fished the PO River in Idaho not Wash, but there is no listing for the PO River in Idaho. Launched at PR boat launch at first light fished down stream toward the dam mainly throwing cranks and got some keeper size (over 12" not that I really keep any of em) smallies.
Most of the fish were in about 12 ft of water in the main channel in the current with some kind of break in the water. Got about 20 fish doing that, along with 3 cutthrout trout that also hit the crackbaits we were throwing. Landed 2 cuts that were 14" & 15 1/2" and lost one at the side of the boat that was 20" when the hook riped his lip off. So all I got was the lip unfortunitly.
Then we went up river and fished a rockwall that droped into very deep water and drop shotted a tail off a Sink-N-Fool bait in about 25 ft of water with great success. The first fish was about a 3 3/4lbs smally and got a couple more over 2. Sorry didn't have a camera that day. Got about 8 fish there in about 45 mins fishing time I learned alot about the lower river below the bridge at PR as I had never fished it in the lower water levels before and found all kinds of stuff I never knew was there. Some great bolders and stumps down there you cant see in high water, I gps'ed as many as I could, I hope that will pay off for next years fishing season :)
