fished this morning down at the nasty. used the old standbye (2 size 14 green/gold corkies an a lil black yarn to hold sum stink). hooked into 3 silvers landed one that was foul hooked so back she went. the fish started to pack into the hole i was fishing til a fella came down an was swingin like 6 or 7 times a drift. after that i quit feelin fish an only occasionally saw any surface. tried some eggs before i left but didnt get any takers. almost forgot, i used a bunch of different scents today an all 3 hook ups came with a lil anchovy stink on the yarn

Nice. Thanks for the info. Does stacking corkies work well for you compared to a single corkie?

sometimes, it has worked in the past down there. that and i usually like the #14 corky so it kinda helps to stack'em to give a better profile. i play around with my rigging alot til i find something the fish like

Where do you fish on this river? Is there good fishing by the bridge in McKenna?
