Went to the south side of 522 tonight. Saw some fish rolling. Water has cleared up nicely, but still a foot or so higher than last week. Threw dick nites. No hits, despite fish rolling. Heard from a buddy that was fishing the north side of 522 earlier (mid to late afternoon) that he got towed from in front of the gate at Lord Hill Park. He was parked on the wrong side of the road supposedly. There are no signs where he parked, but the tow company (from out in Sultan) told him that you can park on the north side of the road, but not the south and that someone had called to report his illegal parking. It was the 3rd car they towed from there today. I've seen lots of people park where there are clearly "No Parking" signs right under the bridge and also inside the rocks they have blocking the area under the bridge, also have seen a fair amount of people parked down by the gate on the south side (left side driving in). The only sign says "No improper parking". He was all the way off the road (so far off that the tow truck almost got stuck pulling him out). He is calling the county to get clarification. $300 later he got his truck back.

Sounds like maybe some of the residents up the road are getting tired of people parking where ever they want and trashing the place with the garbage they can't seem to pack out. Be careful if you fish up that way and please remember to pack out. I'm getting tired of having to tell people to pick up their crap or picking up for them when they leave before I can "remind" them. Yes, this includes the 2 young women who crowded in on me last weekend and left all their crap scattered around the beach (these 2 had lost their tackle box off the top of their car ealier in the day).

Also watched some people trying to floss some fish tonight from the south side. 1 pole, 4 people, fishing with 3 lines (2 hand lines). All lines had a huge red and white spoon with trebble hooks. Tried to explain that it was illegal to fish that way, but I think much was lost in the translation. They kept fishing. They were also throwing rocks to entertain themselves. Needless to say, fairly irritating. I'll be calling the game department to let them know to watch that area. By the way, another area to please pack out from. I pulled a full garbage bag out the other night.

That's awesome to know that I'm not the only one picking up other peoples $#!t. I haven't fished that sections of the river yet on account of I don't know where to park, the last thing I need is a tow. It'd be nice to find the fish though.

Damn, sounds like you had a tough go of it! Better luck next time. Were the young ladies lookers? Maybe all was not lost?
