Went to the river after work. It was after high tide at approximately 630pm. Tossed a spoon for a while untill I hooked into a heavy snag. I pulled it back 6 ft until the line snapped. If it was the fishing line, then Maxima line has mega stretch. Tossed a Vibrax untill sunset and went home. Didnt have any hits the entire time and still saw Silvers and Kings rolling after someone told us the nets were in.

On a side note, the guy fishing next to me called his dog Jack. Then I asked if the dogs name was Jack Bauer. The guy said yes and his master was Nate Treat. He had a couple of bites but nothing stuck. See ya around Nate.

Good day out. Anytime you can get your line wet is better than sitting at home. That snag was annoying, I lost three rvrfshr spoons on it. The one good hookup I had ran straight into it. I wanna see what was there when the tides out. See ya round!

If it gave 6 ft maybe it is a loosy goosy thick branch. You know, the kind that bend and bend but just won't break... Wonder if it i connected to main body of a stump or tree submerged in the water.
Good detective work on identifying nate! ;-)
PS- thanx for the tip on the Green. I have some eggs, maybe if the mud isn't too bad I can try floating eggs or plunking eggs (something my daughter could handle).
Good luck, tight lines!
