hit the green at flaming geyser first around 8am. no bites, no luck, other people fishing, didnt see anythign caught or any bites. 11am. moved up further into the park. no bites at all. 130pm, took a break and later went further upstream to kanasket-palmer. water looked promising, but no bites at all. people fly fishing said that they recieved some bites, but nothing big. a guy further up stream caught a 5-6 inch trout. biggest fish i saw that day. we finally left the river all together around 6pm empty handed.

i just got back from palmer, caught two rambows, i never get skunked up there, drift sand shrimp, works every time man, but i will say it is not worth goin while its hot like this, almost every hole i went to people were swiming in, i got forced out of two of my favorite holes by kids cliff jumping, evan one of them you have to hike a ways back to get to

I usually catch rainbows down by the log jam after you turn left at the 18 bridge, but they were nothing more than 5-6 inch as well. But that was last summer. In years past, my brother and I caught them up near palmer as well drifting a worm and salmon eggs. Good Luck.
