Hit the Cowlitz again Sunday.....lost a couple early .... friend got one......lull till about 1:45pm and then they came through fairly consistantly.... all in all, our trio went 4 for 10 with all released except one for the smoker.... The reason for the 3 rating is that this place can be a a 10 fish per day river and it was pretty streaky on Sunday and because most of the steelies are startin to get a little darker than i like to keep 'em (Those darker fish still fight like hell and are sure pretty to look at) ... must mean the winter run is actually coming close to an end and the summers will be in in a bit... saw no springers hooked from bank.... hoping that they come in as thick as WDFW projected this year... anyone else havin any luck on springers?
