10/13/2009 2:05:00 PMbionic_one, I just enjoy fishing. So anytime I go out and get quite a few, I am happy. The same thing when I go bass fishing, even if every bass I get is only 1-2 pounds, but I get plenty, I will rate it a 5. I've been fishing enough times to know there are plenty of times when you get skunked, so that is my reasoning.

10/14/2009 7:43:00 AMI'm surprised people are still fishing for pinks. They don't even smoke good at this point, if you want good smoked fish you need to start with good fish. It was good sport 6 weeks ago, but they're beyond the point of good sport as well.

10/14/2009 7:52:00 AMsmashmouth, I would agree. I haven't kept a Pink for awhile now. I am fishing them because I haven't seen many Silvers yet and because it's still fun catching them (even if I'm not keeping them). I very rarely keep bass or trout, but I still enjoy fishing for them and catching them.

10/14/2009 8:35:00 AM@snake7676, I checked out the area near Auburn Salmon Hatchery this morning. Didn't see any silvers but plenty of zombie or fungus pinks. Was so easy to catch pinks, it really wasn't much fun especially since they don't put up any fight. I actually feel sorry for them.
