Met with Jens at the Puyallup River around 4:45am to pick a good spot. Started fishing during first sign of light. Jens caught the first fish, ok size pink. Then I started getting bites. It finally felt good to start catching some fish, even though they were small. TommyTitan showed up later and he was on fire, started getting bites almost on every cast. So Jens and I copied his set up and started catching more. We ended around 11:00am and caught about 10 fish total and lost about another 10 (most were lost at the bank when Jens was trying to help, we think he purposely lost our fish). Jens don't forget to bring your net next time. It was an excellent day for pinks. I'm suprised even with the latte color water the pinks were bitting aggressively. I found fishing with about 4-5 ft leader was the best and orange corky and pink yarn. Hope to catch some Kings next time.

Kinghunter, we need to remind people the spot we fished at doesn't require waders. Oh, wait, unless you fall in!! You guys cracked me up with your acrobatic, ninja like moves. If the bite wasn't so hot, I would have laughed. Sorry Tommy, but your disappearing act submerging yourself was pretty hilarious. The first time was, hey, I hope he is ok, but the second time, now that is tummy tickler. Now that I have cleaned my fish, relaxing at home, I am laughing at you guys now. Yes, we need to bring a net next time. Oops.

I think we all learned a valuable lesson, one corky is not worth your life, right TommyTitan. LOL. Sorry we couldn't stop laughing so hard. Mine was awesome, back flip and roll and I stayed dried, but can't say the same for TommyTitan, next time don't forget your belt for your wader. We will have to do that again soon. As for the location, where were we fishing guys?

If you don't mind sharing your location one more time, I'd be interested. I'm from the Kirkland area and dont' know the river or area well. Thanks.
