Headed down by momma stortini`s late afternoon, first cast me and my buddy both had hooked up being a silver for me and a pink for him. We managed at least 4 fish a piece but had thrown back the small ones. Be back tommorow

Thanks for the report- I am hoping to hit it up there this saturday..Do you have trouble finding parking at Stortinis?

I was there around 6:30 this morning and not many parking spaces, but you can park across the street if need be. Saw a couple silvers on the bank walking down to the corner. Lots and lots of people elbow to elbow. I didn't fish there, I ended up downstream by Clark's Creek and slayed the pinks keeping 1 nice bright buck. Fun on light gear. Who says these fish don't bite? I found that at the end of the drift right before I reeled up, I got numerous "bites". A single jerk, then fish on...and...the hook was set in the roof of the mouth up front. Midway throught the drift when you get the rubbery feeling and your line stops...that is flossing...the hook was always in the rear portion of the mouth on either side. The line is sweeping downstream and it runs through the fish's mouth and hence...flossing. (just my take on it) The bite is spiratic and you have to wait for schools to come through. Good group of guys down there though. Have fun!
