Started fishing around 11am-3pm. Mainly drift with corky and yarn, did try floating with jig and shrimp, but the river was too muddy I think for that, visibility was almost zero where I was at. At around 3pm I did see the V's that Toni was describing. I did snag 2 as I was reeling in my line. One snag was on his back and the other one was on his tail. The one on his back I got him to the bank and the hook came off and off he went too. The tail one was whipping so hard that he broke my line by the shore. They both looked like chum to me, old and not much fighting left in them, color bright red and some silver but some dark green also. Anyway there were alot of them swiimming in a pool, occasionally coming up above the water where you can see them. Could it be a late chum run?

I think they were old silvers.

I am thinking you might have snagged an underwater log. Your past reports suggest you lose a lot of gear from overhanging branch limbs or boulders. Just a thought Kinghunter.
