Went to Minter to check out all the hub-bub.I will have to agree with castanova about the folks out there.I ended up keeping two bright ones and let about twelve go do to being foul hooked or just really ugly.I only foul hooked three.I might be out there tomorrow. It just all depends.

HEY FELLAS... I COMPLETLY AGREE WITH EVERYONE WHEN YOU SAY IT IS CROWDED. JUST STUPID CROWDED. BUT ON THE "FLIP" SIDE, PEOPLE WONT GET EDUCATED UNLESS SOMEONE TELLS THEM HOW TO FISH IN SITUATIONS LIKE THAT. IF THEY GET ALL PISSED, THAT IS THEIR PROBLEM...
IT'S UNFORTUNATE THAT THE HUB BUB HAS GOTTEN TO EVERYONE AND EVERYONE AND THEIR CLAN IS OUT THERE, BUT IF YOU WANNA STRETCH YOUR ARMS, DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO GO. ANAKPINOY4 AND I WILL BE OUT AT BLUE CREEK THIS WEEKEND... WE'LL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT GOES.
TIGHT LINES FELLAS.

I hear ya Quan, and I do speak up and educate pretty much anywhere I fish. However ya can't educate if they don't understand the language your speaking so realistically the hub bub has not gotten to me, it's just there are to many non crowded places w/ as many or more chum without all the drama.

Hey fella's..I have never fished on a river for salmon, have no idea how to fish for salmon..I see pictures of you catching nice ones...but reading your reaction, makes me not to want to try and definitely not bring my son to try and learn....I would hate to see him watch his dad get angry. There isn't much on books or youtube for etiquette on fishing combat...If I upset someone for my lack of knowledge, well..that is part of a bigger problem then just fishing in a small creek..how else is anyone to learn if they don't by trial and error. Somone must have "learned" you....

Acutally, i understand everyone's response, but it really is common sense... A.If someone has fish on, get your crap out of the way and give the person some room, B. unless someone leaves and i mean goes home, leave their spot to them, unless you say hey are you leaving? you mind if i jump in there? And they relinquish their spot. That is just common courtesy... And yes people whom have been "bankies" have said hey just watch this and watch that cuzz there are some people out there who really give a crap who you are and will get pretty aggresive/upset. But really, when it gets heated you jsut got to be the bigger person... unless you have no choice, then it's on.

Hey fellas, thank you for teaching me about all of this..I'd look like one of those you despise if I went there..I just wouldn't know when and where to find a spot to fish..especially w/my son. Common courtesy sometimes I have heard about combat fishing goes out the window..during the middle of the week I have been told is best.

I KNOW I CROSSED MANYLINES , CUT INFRONT OF PEOPLE, HAD TO HAVE SOMEONE SHOW ME HOW TO SETUP MY STUFF.I HAD NO CLUE WHERE MY BOUNDRIES LAY.THEN AS I GREW UP AND LEARNED FISHING ETICUTT I FELT BAD FOR WHAT I HAD DONE ,NOW AS IM HEAR READING THESE I REMEMBER AN OLD FISHERMEN ASKED ME A QUESTION ,THE QUESTION WAS "WHY DO WE DO WHAT WE DO WHEN WE KNOW WHAT WE KNOW".NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE A CHANCE ON THE GUY FISHING NEXT TO HIM BECAUSE YOU GET INTIMIDATED BY THE FEW OUT THERE THAT DONT CARE OR RESPECT ANYONE.I AGREE,THERE ARE INTIMIDATING PEOPLE OUT THERE BUT THERE EVERYWHERE IN EVERYTHING SO IF WE STOP GOING TO PLACES LIKE FISHING IN A CREEK ,RIVER,LAKE ,SOUND,OCEAN ,THATS ALL THAT WILL BE OUT THERE ARE INTIMIDATERS .WE WILL ALL BE AT HOME BEING WISHERS AND THEY WILL BE ENJOYING WHAT RIGHTLY WE ALL SHARE .MAKE A DIFFERENCE HELP SOMEONE OUT SAY HI,CHEER EM ON WHEN THEY GET A FISH AND MOST OF ALL BE PATIENT.THE LAST TIME I FISHED IN A RIVER THERE WERE NO BEGINNER,INTERMIDIATE ,NOVICE AND EXPERT SIGHNS POSTING WHERE TO FISH AT WHAT LEVEL YOU THINK YOU ARE.WHEN YOU SAY SOMETHING TO SOMEONE THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY BEFORE YOU SAY IT WRONG!!!!I REMEMBER LAST YEAR ON THE PUYALLUP THE HUMPIES WERE THICK AND THERE WERE 20 TO 30 PEOPLE FISHING AND CATCHING AND ENJOYING THEMSELVES WITH GRANDPARENTS AND GRANDKIDS THE FUTURE WIFE OR HUBBY IT WAS GREAT THAT SO MANY PEOPLE COULD BE SO CLOSE YET BE AS HAPPY AS THEY WERE GRANDPARENTS ,PARENTS AUNTS AND UNCLES THE WHOLE WORKS I SHOULD HAVE VIDEO TAPED IT WOULD HAVE SOLD MILLIONS.PICK YOUR SPOT MAKE IT COUNT AND STICK UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN SOMEONE WILL APPRECIATE IT .IT JUST MIGHT BE YOU.!
