Used rainbow power bait, Caught 2 nice size trout about 16 to 18 inches long. Very thick fish. I put the flow as average because I really don't know what its like. First time fishing there. I was some where about a mile of so west of the upriver dam. Directly across the road from a large red building. Was only there for about an hour and went through a whole jar of bait. I had a lot of bites, but not a lot of hook ups. Was scouting for a decent fly fishing location. No one else fishing that I could see. Was partly cloudy and cold to me. But I am going to try to go back with a little more tackle.

Hope this helps someone,
Wig

hello ,
I once fished the spokane for a week in which i caught browns rainbows eastern brook trout bull trout bass pike minnow's and sucker fish.
I fished it right at the Idaho/Washington border. you can find some good water in post falls/most browns will be found here.
I fly fished to catch all of these species found that a worm leech pattern tyed with brown yarn and some pautske's trout scent worked great .
also if you want to fish power bait or some thing like that you should try the power balls* they dont come off the hook and leave the shank exposed to maximize hook ups. I love this river
