The river was a little more giving this week and I have caught a ton of fish. Even caught a couple decent kings on plugs as well. they are a kick in the pants on a 13.5 noodle and 6lb line. I've seen and caught a bunch of dark silvers but also a bunch of bright ones. Plugs have been the weapon of choice this week and here shortly, eggs and spinners will be as well. The pictured kings are just a couple brats that are 14 and 19 pounds, but both had blood red meat in em. Still seeing a lot of idiots in there using 20lb + line which will only spook these guys. Use lighter line and less weight if you are drift fishin and your catch rate will go up and also your snag/lost gear rate will go down.

Any metallic colors work. I like blue, pink, silver, purple, and red. I was out this mornin free driftin eggs and picked up 5 and didn't keep any. biggest was only 6.2lbs
