After a hard day, took my 12 y.o. son out to practice casting and hopefully land a few. Upon arriving at the Landsburg bridge, saw 2 gents launching pontoons from the area. After asking for any tips they might have, they shared that they were officials from the WDFW and were not only going to evaluate the river, but also check any fisherman for licenses, gear, etc.
Good to see that our tax dollars at work even late Friday!!
While hoping for a large one, we were only able to land one 9"er, but when the river slows, we'll see what the river has to offer. Even a few nymphers were not very productive.
