First time ever even looked at the puyallup river for fishing. My Dads friend from work gave us the heads up on when, were, and how. Got there very early in the morning and there was already guys in the spot he had mapped out for us.
We started back to the car to find a better spot and guess what hear comes my dads buddy from work. We told him that there was a couple of guys already fishing in his spot he had told us about. His answer was a surprise to me " two guys, man you can fish at least six there! come with me."
So the next thing I know my dad, his friend, and I are fishing arms length away from these other two guys.
"This is what you call combat fishing son" he kept saying
It was great fun casting over peoples lines and no one was pissed. Hell I even got all caught up with one of the original two guys and he said sorry to me. This is my new favorite spot to fish.
OK so the two original guys caught two each two silvers and two pinks. Two other guys across the river both landed one each. Definitely silvers, to large to be pinks. I hooked into something good size for all of 45 sec. then pop broke my line.
No one from my group caught any today but here's the big one all of this happened in a fishing trip that lasted two hours.
That is very good fishing anywhere I have been this year. Six fish caught in a matter of two hours. Lets just say I will be there next Sunday and I will definitely be the first guy to this honey hole. Get-r-done
