Fished 3 days in Area 11, Southworth 1 day 2 days at Dolphin Pt. Only 1 Chinook hookup off of Dolphin but had a problem with the line release clip, "My Bad"!! Two Pinks only for the efforts. Watched/listened to Chinook being caught, bigger fish were natives, some nice hatchery fish as well. One fisherman boated 4 keepers in 3 days, early morning/tide change but most of the fishermen did not do as well as others. The luck of being in the right place at the right time seems to be what is occurring.
The radio chatter and e-mails put the go too depths from 65-85 FT, best bite time I saw was dawn to 7:30-8:30 AM-tide change, lures included herring, off white hoochies and Irish Cream Spoon Tailwagger. Flasher/leader lengths looked to be UV/30" but who knows when you're moving bye the netting. The one fisherman has used the same hoochie/flasher combination so far, not changing out like I do every 15-30 minutes, problem is "FINDING THE RIGHT ONES"!!!!!
If your into Pinks to keep busy they are all over the place down there but for the time out on the water I'm after the Chinook/Coho, getting pinked out!!
