I've never caught/cleaned one, but it can't be that hard... do you have to worry about popping the ink bladder?

11/24/2014 8:58:00 AMThey are easy to clean. I cut mine open and get rid of everything inside by rinsing with water including open ink bladder.

Also heard great things about Des Moines Pier, Redondo (if you can find a place on the ledge to squid), and I've personally caught my limit a few times this month (November) in Tacoma down on Ruston Way. Definitely would recommend investing in a car battery/light combo.
