As normal we fished saturday and sunday.
Saturday- Today was a battle with weather. One minute it would be sunny and the next thunder and lightning. when it was nice we fished. had lots of bites but they never stuck. they were hitting strangely. finally my pole goes off with a good hit and my mom was right there so she grabbed it. right away we all could tell it was a nice fish. we got it. as i was bleading it i saw their were giant dog like teeth and i thought not a coho... a chum. thuis was the very first chum salmon ever in our boat. it also was one of the few times it was legal to keep but it was. throughout the day we kept getting weird bites and only got 1 more fish.
Sunday- today was better weather and the fish actually hid normal. today we only lost 1 fish.it still took us several hours but we ended up with our limit of 6 fish. Fish were all over between 45 and 100 feet deep. we used sling blades and ace hi flys with short leaders. only about 10 inches. also used pro-cure anise bloody tuna.
