BARCHASER10
10/8/2014 11:38:00 AMWe got our fish more shallow, 60-70 feet. I'd like to go out tomorrow but not sure with the fog problem.

Pretty heavy fog all day. Launched at Everett at 7:15 and, after a slow trip to Mukilteo due to fog, had gear down at about 7:45. Fished the outgoing tide down past Shipwreck, then spent several hours around Shipwreck and Picnic Pt. before fishing the incoming tide back to Mukilteo and playing tag with the Ferries in the fog on our way back.
Used several different flasher/hoochie combos with herring strips from 35-125'. We had two solid takedowns at 95' and 120' of wire. One fish in the boat was a 6.5 pound female that appeared very long and slender (29"). The other fish was lost to a split ring that failed...my fault. I thought I had replaced them all with welded rings last year :-/. I haven't caught a lot of coho this year, but everyone had empty stomachs and appeared to be in "river mode" with nearly mature eggs in the females.
Unless there are more fish on the way, I think the Fat Lady is warming up...
