Got up to P.A. at about 7:30 . Line at the launch was about 6 deep but everyone was well versed in launching, so no comedy shows or people needing both lanes . Got out to the yellow can by 8:00.Set the wife up trolling a coho killer behind a green/uv/orange flasher at 60 ft on the rigger. I went with a white/uv hoochie with white/uv flasher at 80ft. Within 10 min we had a double takedown but neither stuck. 15 min. later the wife says she had a hit, but it didn't pop the release, few min later mine makes a dip but no release, make the turn, troll another 15 min. and nothing so pull in the lines and sure enough both have juvenile blackmouth stuck to them. Released those, put fresh scent on back down to 50 ft and 70 ft. A hour goes by no action so decide to start crossing the tide doing the zig-zag 5min. into this pattern the wifes' poll starts the dance. 1st fish in the boat nice 10 lb coho. Get her line in the water again, just get sat back down and boom goes my pole, a 9 lb'er. 10 min later hers goes off again, 3 in the boat now, haven't even bonked hers yet and my pole starts to dance again, but this one comes unbuttoned at the boat. Get her fish taken care of, get my line back in the water and no more than 10 min later our last fish is in the cooler. In one hour we went from 0 fish to 4 fish in the box. Awesome day!!!
