My son and I went 3 for 3 yesterday. Launched at Everett about 7:15A. Dropped lines at Mukilteo just about 8:00 and headed south. At around 9:00 picked up one wild fish, then a hatchery fish at 10 or so. Both fish between Muk and Shipwreck. Both fish at 90-100'. Then we put in lots of time at Shipwreck, both inshore and offshore, marking fish, but no takers. Trolled back North at the tide change. Finally at 2:15P we picked up fish number three. That one was at 75' and also about 1/2 way down to Shipwreck from Muk.
Three fish, three different setups. Red racer flasher with green GrandSlam bucktail, QCove hologram with glow tape and green splatterback hoochie with mylar skirt, and red/silver flasher with white Grandslam bucktail, all with herring strip/scent. Actually, the last fish had shrimp scent applied. Tried a bunch of different stuff at a bunch of depths and speeds.
Fish checker said just under 2 fish/boat.
