Fished from the beach at Mukilteo Lighthouse Park on Wednesday. Brought two rods with intentions to float herring and or cast small buzz bombs for a couple hours. I forgot that they have the Farmers Market on Wednesday so I'm hoping to get in and out fast.

Short leader and little weight. I don't want to be catching crab and I expect to fight with the darned eel grass. Neither of which happens. Bobber with with stopper, 1/2 ounce weight, and cut herring that had been salted the night before was my lucky choices.

About an hour and half of drifting herring and my day is done as I catch and land 2 5lb maybe coho. I was stunned how close to beach they came. So made up for the gajillion hours on Tuesday at Shipwreck with 35 + boats where we caught nothing, nada, and zip.
