Went to Possession Point for a change today. Heard Saturday had more than 40 fish. Today wasn't different! Left the house around 5, got to the beach around 6:15, line in the water around 6:30. Guy next to me catches a fish, a few more after that. I rebaited, casted out, and moved my bucket back because of the tide. Without looking at the bobber, my rod was almost yanked out of my hand! Fish fought with a lot of acrobatics. Solid 5 minute fight. Dispatched the fish, cut the gills, record the catch and rebaited my hook. 20 minutes later, I watched my bobber go down. It went up and I thought I missed it. Dang. But wait! The bobber starts going against the current. Set the hook. Fish ON! Lots of acrobatics too. First time fishing bobber and herring with success and first limit of the season!
