Went out to Bush Point for the evening low tide on Thursday night. Fished from about 6 to 7:45 using a chartreuse rotator with a chartreuse 2" hoochie. Within about 5 casts I hooked up for a few seconds but it didn't stick. Nothing more happened for about 45 minutes and then the bite came back. Saw fish jumping and swirling within 20' of shore and casting to the action and jigging back produced results. Got one fish just over 4lbs to shore, and hooked up with another one that was probably a good 7 or 8lbs but didn't land it. Had one other solid bite as well. Saw numerous other fish hooked and landed and all strikes were probably no more than 25' from shore. Good night on the beach!
