I decided to head to to Brown's Point today for a chance at some pinks. I hooked into my first fish around 6:30 and it made a few nice runs before I landed it. As I was filling out my catch card the guy next to me hooks up. After getting my fish on a stringer to bleed, it was back to fishing. Three casts later I was pulling my jig out of the water at the bank and a pink came up and smashed it. It caught me off guard but I got a decent enough hook set to beach it a few seconds later. I lost 1 more within 5 minutes of my second fish. For the next few hours almost everyone I saw on the beach hooked up. I was fishing to the left of the lighthouse looking towards the water. A few of my friends fished the right side and each had 3 pinks. Lure was a pink squid jig. I did see others caught with pink buzz bombs too.It was a fun experience.
