Game On Folks! Fish are topping the water all over! Trolled around in the morning wish only a couple good hits. Fished between Browns Point and Dumas Bay. Launched at Dash Point. Tried trolling and hitting shallow water with an anchor and just was not nearly as effective as we wanted. Given there are fish jumping ALL over the place! We ended up pitching buzz bombs between 170-250ft of water between Dash Point state park and Dumas bay about halfway towards the middle of the channel. Fish were jumping, nearly running into the side of my 10ft aluminum V. Catching a fish in 2ft of water next to your boat is awesome! I let him take off and had a heck of a fight! It was an awesome limit in about 1hr after finding what to do. Look for the currents and garbage floating and hang around there..... we constantly had fish following our buzz bombs and decent but no hard strikes. I managed to get one nice silver. It swam right to the boat and into the net without a fight! The pinks are going in the smoker and the limit of crab are going to eaten as well.

This is my first salmon season and it's like someone hit the light switch. Not one more week folks. They are here! Tight lines. See you out there.
