The good news is the silvers are in, the bad news is they are small right now. Spent the morning dragging an assortment of gear between the 300' and 400' line at Shilshole. Top producers were a Brad's Mini Cutplug in Mnt. Dew and a copcar Ace High Fly in needlfish size. Ended up with 2 keepers and released one good sized wild chinook. The issue we had, and it didn't seem to be isolated to just our boat, were drive byes. We had quite a few and it was frustrating to say the least, especially as I'm a little OCD when it comes to sharpening my hooks. The pinks are also in the bay and could be seen jumping on a regular basis. We also managed to pick up three keeper dungies after sorting through a bunch of softshell and barley undersized crab. Lets hope the numbers and size of the fish increase from here on out and we have a season to match last year.

No, we were just staying in water 300' to 400' deep. We were getting action between 40' and 100'.

Thanks for the report G-Man! Taking some colleagues from out of town next Monday so I'll take all the intel I can get right now to put them on some fish.
