Short story, the catching was great, but the keeping was only so so. Three of us started around 1PM on Sunday and quit at 1PM on Wed, my Seahawk. We got 12 Chinooks ranging in size from 12 to 30. We got to keep 6 marked Chinooks. 29, 27, 25, 25, 12, 10. I got the 27 and the 10. The ones we tossed back were about the same size, except for one dandy that had to be over 30. We also caught 3-4 Pinks which we tossed back and 4-5 Silvers all of which had too many fins.

All in all it was a good trip. We fished pretty much the Caves and Eagle Beach except on Wed we tried Mussolini Rock which is further east and got two wild fish and a keeper there. Downriggers, flashers and we started with squid on one side and Coho Killers on the other, and a free rod with herring. The fish made it clear early they wanted squid, Goldstar dark green OG142R two twinkle skirts, salted herring strip, 80-110 feet on the DR. If I could only have one lure in the salt it would be a flasher and an OG142R.

Quite a bit of catching just not as much keeping. Fun but releasing Chinooks that large is a bit disturbing. I would have given it a 5 except for all the unmarked fish.
