Hit the water just before 6am and trolled towards Browns Point and back with no hits. Few sole and a rock bass took my squid that was it! Saw a school top by the pilings at Browns Point and no hits there either. Tried a UV Green flasher with pink squid and a white flasher as well.... while tossing pink buzz bombs on a slow troll at 30ft in 50/80ft water. Heard people on Browns Point hit into some kings around 6:43am and was only a 30 minute window. Here's a pick of the first pot pull of two... 4 keepers in this one and plenty of youngins and just a few females. 60-75ft deep is always the ticket for me....Soaked the pots and was done the first pull. Stayed till about 11am and decided this day was not going to end well. So i packed up went home cleaned up and took the kids to the MaST Carnival on the dock. They had a blast.
