7/31/2013 6:00:00 AMMelanie and I trolled for 8 hrs(!) on Monday off Pt. Wilson, only caught one pink, down 85 ft. on the downrigger, had one other salmon bite but no hookup. Dogfish were pretty bad.I too was surprised at lack of pinks (and kings, and silvers!). Talked to about 8 or 10 other fisherpersons, only a couple of fish and no kings. Bob R

7/31/2013 8:42:00 AMQuad, I ran over to Lincoln Park at lunch yesterday to check out the scene. There were a few on shore, but no action going on at the moment. Saw one guy with three fish. He caught his first at 6am and his last at 7am. Said it'd been very slow since then. Think yesterday might have been a slow one most places.

7/31/2013 4:06:00 PMMay as well remind everybody that the walk back up that 1.25 trail is a pain in the tush if you are out of shape. Nice park but lordy I was wanting an oxygen tank going back up that trail. If you are disabled and have a disabled parking pass you can apply for a disable parking access to the lower lot which is just about as good as the shortcut. I like the park but I don't know where the "shortcut" parking area is. Sorry to hear the pinks weren't in yet... because I've been told that is a good spot to go for them. I was considering going to Picnic Point and see if I could do anything without hammering a ton of seaweed.
