My brother and I fished Deep lake from 9 a.m. to about 3 p.m. in our float tubes. The lake was quiet and peaceful. While I fished the shoreline for bass and perch, my brother fished off-shore for trout and silvers. The silvers (Kokanee) were jumping everywhere and we eventually caught 3 of them about 12 to 14 inches. The Kokes are staging up for the spawn and are already changing to spawning colors.
On the bass and perch scene I caught about 25 to 30 bass ranging from 6 inches to 18 inches and 4 pounds, about 6 small perch. Great place for kids and float tubes, fish a nightcrawler with no weight and have fun.
