Dropped three pots and a ring around 9am in about 40-50' of water. Low tide was around 9:30a. Only one other boat out crabbing in the vicinity at the time. Dropped the ring first, so after getting the last pot rigged and dropped, we went back to check the ring (~40 minutes soak). Had five crab, two legal. Thought it was going to be a quick morning for limits. Check the string after about an hour and ended up with four keepers (including the first two). Lots of "just under" males and an equal number of females. Went in to shore for lunch and coffee. Made the last run to pick up pots at 12:30pm and the pots were full. Lots of crab, but most were females and undersized. Managed to catch a total of 12 legal sized, but had to return two to the depths as we could only keep 10. Also picked up a couple of Red Rocks to let our guests sample. It was a good time and dinner was great!. By the time we left there were about six other boats fishing in the area around our pots. Reports from them were variable.
