3/14/2012 8:47:00 PMI was wearing gloves while using the clam gun. Couldnt tell the difference between hard sand and cracking shells. The clam guns outnumbered the shovels from what I could see. My friends that were with me didnt break any shells with the clam guns. The people with shovels were getting thier fair share. I think the key was locating the "shows" rather than what you were using. Thanks Rocky, I thought it would be fun to post a razor clam report.
