I cannot figure out why these pics keep showing up sideways in the reports, I rotate them on the computer but they won't turn out that way on the reports. Anyways, went out with a friend to Seattle yesterday, intending to catch some pile perch. We got dropped off there around late 11ish and started fishing. Our rig was a double dropshot rig with shrimp from the grocery store. We only caught 1 small perch the whole day, but caught plenty on these flounder or sole (can't tell which). Biggest was around 12". We also ran into a guy who was fishing, he didn't speak much English, but he had a bucketful of pile and striped perch.

I can't tell you what you're doing wrong, but I can guarantee you that the pics are being post exactly as they are uploaded (i.e. you are uploading them sideways.).

If you can get to the barnacle clumps, fill up a bucket. Pull off some small mussles, then smash up a clump with ur foot and kick them in the water(like chumming). Use the small muusles for bait. Piling worms work well also, they will be in the clumps too. That, of course means timing the tide and being dropped off makes it tough to get there when you want to. Good luck!

Hey guys, nice to see a report on Flounder, (Sole) a very under utilized fishery here and a great eating fish! Pile worms really do work well for them, but watch out them darn worms can bite! Really! They have teeth!!

Clam necks and chunks of perch or flounder meat work great, too. They are cannibals, just like their freshwater namesakes.

Logan, are wearing some freakin shorts out there, in the Winter time? What is the frilly, fuzzy stuff at the bottom of your X-mas pants or top of your X-mas boots. Either way, your into the spirit of the holidays..........LOL!

if you rotate your pictures when windows picture viewer, you're only rotating the setting for how you view it. you can go into ms paint and actually rotate the entire image and then save.
