It was actually a failry tough day fishing as the wind was pretty stiff out of the Northeast and was putting some whitecaps on the water. My father and I spotted some bird activity and worked over a couple of baitballs for our 3 fish. Nothing too spectacular, they still look like resident fish to me, 4 - 5lb average and not real chunky. We did long distance release a few fish and also put back quite a few shaker blackmouth. Spoons were the ticket today, with a Coho Killer and Sonic Edge Spoon getting the most attention. The water really cleared up from last week's "brown tide" and visibility was back to what I would call normal conditions. All of our fish were picked up in 100' to 200' of water, 30' to 60' down, the deeper areas just didn't produce for us. Topped the day off pulling in 2 limits of dungies before making the wet run back to Shilshole.
