Well decided to go to pier for a bit of a change of pace in search of some calamari(squid).went to edmonds pier 2 hours before hight tide ,did pretty good there was a pretty good sized school swimming around.i was there all alone ,it seems i allways do best then for some odd reason.got 20 in about 2 hours.the school would come and go.squid are fun when they around and also good eating.also have been going to the concert pier in downtown seattle been doing ok there to average about 1lb an hour give or take.most the ones in seattle are a bit smaller but the ones at edmonds are good sized.most people have gave up for the year on squid ,but they still out there and with winter coming to an end the tides get better .ive done decent the last few years around this time and there never much of a crowd.edmonds is good on incoming tide ,and concert pier is better on a low,its pretty deep at that one.just had to post it never seen squid post on here, its a fun alternative if weather is crappy....tight lines...off to stevens in the morn for cuts and kokes report is OTW...
