Had a wonderful boat ride, launched out of Everett, calm water. Psyched up from a salmon fishing seminar at 3 Rivers in Woodinville Sept 8th. Had all the gear that was reccomended not a bite though. Saw a sealion w/ salmon off of Lagoon Point the tank. Location reccomended by John Martini's news letter and the seminar. Sonar looked like a desert except the occasional bait ball missing the large markings. Thought we'd find some of those ocean coho moving through. Moved to the shipwreck for the afternoon, lots of boats, no nets out. Admiralty had much smoother water than Possesion/ect. Clear sonar, occasional bait. Nice day on the water. Stopped at Mukilteo ramp for burgers and fries at Mukilteo festival on our way back to Everett ramp. Wishin we had made the trek out to Westport instead. LOL fish checker indicated about one coho per 12 anglers.
