Launched at Everett with my son and my nieghbor Trent @ about 7:30 this morning. Tossed the crab pots in humpy hollow, then ran over to Possession. Ran one rod off the port rigger 90' down with a white/green flasher and a 4" pink squid & herring strip. On the starboard rod ran a green/silver fasher and green spatter back squid/herring strip @ 100'. Ran a third rod off the back with a diver/ humpy special @ about 35' down. Figured we were covered for kings or pinks.Marked alot of fish and bait, but no takers except a few dog fish! We didn't see any fish boated or any nets out. At noon we pulled up and checked our pots and got 7 keeper crabs. Saw one fish boated while sorting crabs. Back at the dock talked to people from two boats that caught 3 fish and 2 fish, two other boats caught no fish. Nice day on the water, a few sprinkles, water was more or less flat, light wind. Then I had to go to work. Will give it another shot tomorrow after I respool my riggers with some new braided line. I've heard real good reports about it, my scotty stainless cable is frayed bad and it's only two years old. Will keep you posted on how it works out, it's Cabela's brand.
