Hit up Jeff Head with my father this morning and found the area to be quite crowded. Had we decided to keep small silvers we would have been done in less than an hour, they were pests throughout the entire day. We started fishing in 90' - 120' of water with hoochies and varied our depths between 60' and right off the bottom. Ace-Hi flies, coho killers, 5" apex lures and hoochies all produced silvers and blackmouth in the 6" to 14" range all morning. Fished the inside channel and hit up the deeper areas outside as well with the same results. Headed over to Point Monroe and repeated the process in 180' to 240' of water, same results. Running back to Shilshole we decided to troll the rips just North of the Beach and found lots of bait on the surface, it looked as if it was raining! However, we only managed to pick up another small silver for our efforts and that ended our day.
