well i went out to see if the pinks were running yet at the beach. saw two guys sitting on the beach with rods and thought uh-oh bad idea. talked to these guys for a bit and decided i would fight the seaweed and wade on out. casted here and there so shallow out as far as i could cast that i was hitting grass after a few jigs with the buzz bomb. so i started tweeking my technique. finally after about 45 min or so BAM came straight out of the water fought pretty good. i was using 12 lb line and a 7ft rod landed him, bout 2.5ish and 24 inches or so beutiful pink nice and chromy. let that one go cause i didn't have a cooler. so the tide started coming in so i was gettting about chest deep and started slow rollin the bomb and BAM this one hit harder than the first good fight and landed it nicely. that one was pretty much a twin of the other. let that one go as well. got tired of fighting seaweed as the tide was coming in. great day 3 hrs and two nice fish. can't wait for more....this was just a scout so next time it is game on cooler and all.
