My son, my daughter, her husband and I went to Minter Creek again to get some salmon for the freeze. Becky caught three, Her husband Chip caught 3 but threw one back it was so dark, my son Chris caught 8 but through 4 back (too dark again) and I caught 4 and only threw one back. It was your typical combat fishing trip, at least that is what I call it. line a hundred people up and give the command Dress-right-Dress. Everyone turns their heads to the right and extends their right arm out until you touch the shoulder of the person next to you. That is all the room you get to do all your fishing in. With a hooked fish you yell fish on and hope everyone can get their lines out of the way as you race up and down the creek. Of course they7 don't but that is half the fun. I had a 20 pound king on and had to have 3 people cut their lines and still had two other lines tangled in mine but I got the fish in. If you can go during the week by all means do so as you will be all but alone. that and go so you are fishing before and after high tide so the creek is high. My grand daughter also went with us although she didn't fish. She ran up and down the creek gathering fishing gear out of the trees and brush. She had quite the pile when we left after about 3 hours or so. Wader are a bit of over kill for this Creek but rubber boots are very handy. a bucket too adds a lot of comfort to to sit on if your old like me and it gives you a place to store all your gear in one spot. a net is also handy but not necessary. All in all another great morning of fishing and we are going back Tuesday when there is no one around. Enjoy
PS Mike what is my password? I can't find out. Bruce Also glad you liked the story about fishing from the back seat.
